min seonghun

25. eldest son and heir to the min family line of mages, which are renowned for their tattoo magics. seonghun got his first piece when he was 18, the anchoring point for all his magic - a kitsune/gumiho surrounded by lightning. since then, he has gotten more tattoos, but became disenchanted with mage politics and soon left to strike out on his own. currently living in neutral territory within seoul and lets his younger sibling(s) deal with the family affairs; the prodigal son, as it were.

a bit of a free spirit, quick-witted, confident, but not without his own fears and insecurities, especially when it comes to trying to make it out of his family's shadow.

specializes in lightning magic, illusions/glamours, and deflection/masking magics. if you look closely, you can see runes/sigils/hangul that make up some of the lines in the full pieces, which is a technique that the min family had "borrowed" from a branch family that settled in japan (known as kakushibori), it's one of the closer-guarded family secrets, and one that seonghun's family is keen on keeping under wraps, as it allows for their magic to be more potent than other families'.
